There are 15 board members so far for the 2008 season, all board members will be

responsible for finding a $300.00 sponsor for each class and also must work one day at the track.

The class structure for 2008 is also posted. The only class still undecided is outlaw.

As everyone is well aware you must be a club member to race.

Prices will remain the same for club races in 2008.

The main goal of the board is to make this event fun for everyone including the fans.

We are focusing on being on time, starting on time, and being done on time.

The motion to run time trials did not pass, however heat races will be timed and will only be allowed 8 minutes, features will be 20 minutes.

The board voted to purchase a clock to be placed somewhere around the scale area out of the drivers view and this rule will be ENFORCED.

The board voted to these heat races under the condition that by May 3,2008 a board meeting will be planned and a final decision will be made to make sure this is in the best interest of all, and that this is the best interest concerning time issue, no one wants to be at the track until 1 or 2 in the morning.

The board also voted on one class per club event WILL be teched.

There will be no rain dates.

The board is also seeking information to forbid any club member from suing the club and how this can be enforced.

Our goal as board members is to clean things up, have a nice event for the karters, and make this an enjoyable event for all that attend.

Please give a board member your opinion it does matter, you paid to be a club member. Be part of the team and help us out.

There will be a general members meeting before the end of January.
