Jamie Lewis Motorsports Race Report

Six Poles were captured by Upper Cut Racing Tires drivers at the Delaware Divisional Race held on May 7th at the U. S. 13 Kart Club Track.   Sweeping both Jr. Sportsman Lite and Heavy was Derek Magee.   Magee also won both Pole awards and led both races from start to finish unchallenged and now leads points in both classes respectively.

In Jr. Sportsman 2 action Brandon White captured both poles and won the Lite class and finished 3rd in the Heavy race. Also Capturing a win from the Pole position in Stock Lite was Richie "the professional" Hornsby, Jr.  With the win Hornsby grabs a share of the points lead.   The win was dedicated to his Uncle Alan who recently past away.  Congrats on a well deserved win.

Rick Argo captured his second straight Senior Stock win unchallenged and is in sole possessor of the points lead.  In the Outlaw/Open class Michael Ellerbusch captured the win.  Congrats to all on another great state race for Upper Cut Racing Tires.

Jamie Lewis Motorsports Race Report

Upper Cut Racing Tires (UCRT) dominates the first of six Delaware Divisional Dirt Series races.  Jr. Sportsman 1 classes were swept by the pair of Austin Wright #1 and Derek McGee #96.  Stock Heavy winning from the last starting spot was Kevin Colborn #0.  Both drivers also had pole qualifying starting position on the day. In the Jr.  Sportsman 2 classes UCRT Team driver Cameron Collins #87 swept both classes, starting from the pole in one of those races.  Rick Argo in the Senior Stock class also captured a win from the pole in dominating fashion.

The last race of the day ended the way it starting with another win by UCRT.  Shannon Morris powered his open machine from the pole to win the race unchallenged.  Also recording top five finishes on the day were Alex White, Brandon Sturgis, Brandon White, Cody Belote, Brett Savage, Richie Hornsby, Craig Moore, Brock Anthony, Craig Bennett, Wayne Fields, Lee Hurlock, Brandon Morris and Horace Wilson.  Congrats to all on a great day!!!

Would also like to congratulate race director Billy Cropper on a very well run race.  It has to be considered on the most timely fashioned ran race day in recent memory.
